From April to September every year CK Corporation is seeking full, and part time, Captain Kool Cream truck lease drivers. Our fleet of neighborhood ice cream trucks are all inspected and licensed to operate in Metro Detroit cites 7 days a week. All drivers are independent operators leasing daily route trucks licensed to operate in specific East Side Metro Detroit neighborhoods. Their daily lease fee is deducted from their daily ice cream sales commissions on their assigned route and at special events like Fireworks displays, Muscle Car cruises and company picnics and graduation parties. No other Detroit Ice Cream trucks compare to our newer V6 Chevy powered fleet of ultra reliable ice cream step vans (all with cold plate freezers). Our independent route drivers make more than our competition on this new generous daily truck lease plan. Truck Driver Job Qualifications:

  • You must be 18 years of age.
  • You must have a current Michigan drivers license
  • You must have a clean driving record.

Our available routes are in suburban Eastside Detroit area cities, and we get many drivers returning year after year. As a Captain Kool Ice Cream Truck driver you’ll also earn money participating in hundreds of Ice Cream special events taking place annually in Metro Detroit. Drivers often assist at Union picnics and Corporate employee gatherings, fireworks displays, school parties, Church fairs, City parades and summertime outdoor events. Everyone loves ice cream and you can have fun while earning real money spreading some goodwill…in Metro Detroit’s finest neighborhoods. Each truck has a specific route so commercial business drive-by sales add to your earnings.

CK Corporation supports the purchasing needs of Metro Detroit’s independent ice cream route vendors, small ice cream shops, convenience stores, and all our neighborhood route customers.
